Inca hosted this past weekend the first edition of the Vinari Awards for Vermouths and Palo de Mallorca, a competition that brought together around twenty entries from different parts of the Balearic Islands. The event served to recognize the quality, creativity, and tradition involved in the production of these products, which are deeply rooted in Mediterranean culture.
Among the standout participants of this edition is Miss Vermut, from Casa Miss (Sa Pobla), which once again shone brightly across several categories.
In the Black Vermouths Category, Miss Vermut Negre was awarded the Silver Medal, a recognition that consolidates its excellence and confirms the great moment that this Sa Pobla vermouth producer is experiencing.
Additionally, in the Innovative Vermouths and Other Styles Category, Miss Vermut Picante won the Vinari Gold, the highest honor in the category, thanks to its bold proposal and its balance of intensity, spiciness, and elegance.
These new recognitions add to the significant international successes that Miss Vermut has recently achieved, such as being named Best Vermouth in the World in the semi-sweet category at the World Vermouth Awards 2025, and receiving the Vinari Award for Best Vermouth Bar in Catalonia.
The Casa Miss project, led by Jaume Mir, continues to demonstrate that world-class products capable of competing —and succeeding— both nationally and internationally can be created in Sa Pobla.
